Bea De LaValette endured multiple surgeries and spent 4 months in the ICU after she lost both her legs in the 2016 Brussels airport terrorist attack. An avid rider, it took Bea only 5 months before she was back on the horse. Bea’s now a Paralympic athlete waiting to compete in the 2021 games.
